ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Well I did get the laundry done and the gardens are all weeded! Yard work is complete and the kitchen cleaned up!
I did start some cleaning in the basement, that place is a good hide away as no one ever sees it but us so I never really do a very good job cleaning but it does need to be tackled
I picked my first crop of radishes...oh man sooooooooo good!
Ohhhhhh good news too! Oldest daughter got a job today!! I am sooooo happy for her, right now its about 25 hrs a week, but beats the 10 she was getting before and then she had a 25 mile commute one way....now shes only got 5 miles!! just maybe she can gather enough money to cover her books!!
I was called out today to do a reiki treatment on a lady that is having some severe pain in her back, so I spent an hr working on her then went for a drive and bought a water and magazine and sat by the lake and listened to nature and read!
so now I am satisfied that I got a few things accomplished so will close this out and wish all of you a blessed weekend

Saturday morning

Good Morning Everyone!

Well I got the next 4 days off! Can't wait to see what all I got done, and I am going to try very hard to blog it here to share with everyone!

I am starting this day out by doing a load of laundry and making the kids pick up their mess they made last night! Hubby and I went to Fargo ND yesterday after I got off of work and took in an event at the Harley Davidson Shop in West Fargo actually, was a lot of fun, registered to win tons of prizes being given away, (which he didnt win) but they served some good BBQ pork sandwhiches, potato chips and baked beans.
I ended up haveing to buy a sweat shirt to stay dry in the rain they got.

We got home about 1:30 this morning to a lightening show, we had some rain..just enough so I can't run the tiller in the garden this morning (grrrr) the weeds are so horrible!!

Any how off to get some stuff done and will catch up with you all later...for now gonna read some blogs and go get a few things done.

Till later ~

Wednesdays Wisdom

Hey gang, sorry I have not been on blog land much at all this past week. Between work, kids, Oh over time in work, gardening, re-planted a few things that did not come up, mowing yard, laundry and the list could go on and on forever...By the time my old body hit the house I was so tired could not munster up the energy left in me to even start the computer.

But today I have a day off so I am playing catch up in all the blogs I like to look at and read, you guys are all so awesome and really truely inspiring! I love this! Even though not a big time blogger actually pretty new at it I am still haveing fun at it!

I have been creating a bit, bought a new easle type book to create from the scrapbook store, I decided to create that into flowers and gardening type stuff, Will try to take a photo and share as that progresses...I have also been working on afew art trading cards and just about go the little blue iris quilt completed! Perhaps I will deliver that to its new owner in the next couple of weeks.

I sit here looking over the home and seeing what has been neglected this week due to work and long days and short nights and I am feeling a tug of war going on...play in blog land or go clean and catch up!......well perhaps this is where I meet in the middle,...finish out this post and then go clean a while and then take some pictures to share and come back for more blogging! YES...sounds like agreat plan to me! See you all later on~

Awe yes...good day for Wednesday Wisdom!

A GOOD DAYS WORK

Well it is my only day off and all I could think about was sleeping in...but alarm went off at 6 and I managed to plunder to the kitchen to make a hot pot of java,...no java means bad day!

I managed to squeeze in 6 loads of laundry today...got them all hung out! was a whopping 90 degrees...stuff was drying as fast as I could get the next load out..

At noon I decided to go mow...put on a tank top and pulled up the old gardening shorts..spread on some sun screen and hit the mower...2.5 hrs later I have a great looking yard!

I made my way to the garden to see how that was looking and watered it, hoed what needed to be and tilled a fresh new area.

Tossed on some supper,...made my way to our bedroom and did a fast cleaning job which was long over due!

Completed a dish rag today that I have been crocheting as I sat on the patio with a glass of iced tea basking in the rays....

Tonight my daughter had her Spring band concert. They did such a great job!

Any how thats about all thats been happening here, busy but uneventful!

Hope you all have a good week!

Still at it.

Well today was not as productive as I was thinking it was gonna be!

I did get my desk and sewing machines moved today as well as the cutting table!..... Oh so tempting to sit down and work on a project instead of sorting and cleaning....and more sorting LOL...What a way to clean out!

I do have 3 boxes (smaller ones) I am going to donate to an elderly lady in the community that makes quilts, she uses mostly used clothing due to a fixed income so I always save my stash for her or buy on a good sale and share with her a few times a year. Makes me feel good when I see her smile.....gratitude!! I wish more people had that!

We had some rain last night so I did not get any more garden in but hope by end of the week most of it will be in. HOWEVER I did start my tomatoes and peppers in small pots... along with 2 zuccinni.

Nothing else really happening here, Hubby is busy picking rocks and waiting for the land to dry out so he can do beans and corn,

Our oldest dauther is moving out of dorm life for the summer, she rented a small apartment about 10 miles from her work, and I cant wait to go see it.....shes got to wait a couple weeks before she moves in......so been busy looking for stuff around here to assist her in setting up small household till school resumes...

Never a dull moment is there!

till next time~
