Earth Theme and Harvest

In Spite of the rains we have had our harvest is close to half done now. Soybeans are finished and now working on corn.
The yields have been good, better than we anticipated,... We can only once we are done thank the good Lord above for the bountiful fruits of my husbands labor once again!
I made a card for my sister, not a good photo at all I did not realize how the light reflected until now doing this. Will try and get a better photos of this later on.
Well I am now using the new room hubby worked so hard on! This was taken three mornings ago, first sunrise of the day, awesome view for me!
I love how the trees appear as a silloute
This is my favorite one! I love the deep orange
I did a new painting again of dessert/ changed a couple of things, once again some watercolor and pastel chalks.
I did a collage, water color and scraps used from a different painting that I did not like so cut it up and used a leaf punch and created a new piece....hid a few things in it as well :)
I was running a farm errand for hubby and soooo happy I took my camera with I was able to capture some beautiful shots
Love the reds
ISnt that gorgeous fall colors!
Almost made it to Willmar and just happened to catch this beauty..

Eagles are so majestic!

Hope you all have a great week!

  4. Been a good thing that we have dried out a bit the last couple weeks. Has to be easier for harvesting. Glad to hear the crop did better than expected--hurray!

I absolutely LOVE that third shot, too, of the sunrise--gorgeous!! You could print that up and frame it!

I love the reds and oranges of fall--great shots of the trees. You even have been using them in your art--hehe! And the eagle is definitely majestic. Don't usually see them perched so low to the ground. Maybe it was full--with all the mice and such stirred up by the harvest--hehe! ;)

    Happy, Happy Fall, Lady!!! :):)
