Bridal shower fun has begun!

 Back In December one of  my clients  gave  me some plants  and  told me  she did  not think they would bloom...look at this gorgeous  orchid!   Makes me wish  Spring was  here!!

 Speaking of  Spring...yes  bridal shower  number 1  soon upon me.......This  is a joint shower that  my  youngest  and her  cousin will share..... So  I  have made a few center  pieces.....in their  colors.....Teal and  purple!

 I might add some more  bling or  fillers..just  not sure yet

 My first try at a  towel cake....it  definitly needs something more... just not sure what............perhaps some  beads and lace......

But  was still fun........Sounds  like we got more  bad weather  moving  in....Ugh just makes Me  tired thinking about it!
Any how  that  is all the fun from here!

Where is this year speeding off to?

OH I totally missed  February....  and  now  mid  March  is upon us!

Not much happening here,  Old man winter  has taken care of that.  We have  had snow, then rain, then sleet, then more snow.  It just seems to be never  ending. I am itching for some warmer days and it sounds like the  weather man says  this next week might be in the  40's !!

I have started  a couple of art Quilts,  but unfortunately they have been left at the  Studio in Milan and I did not have  my camera  but  I will try to remember to take  my camera  next time I go and  share a a photo or two!

It has been busy here  getting items  gathered for bridal showers.....cleaning out closets.... cleaning out spare bedrooms....just when I think I got some of their  items  cleaned  out  I manage to bring more  home for  receptions and showers  and  wedding....:)

I have not  felt  well  for a few months  now,  I did  go see the  Dr  but they can't  find any thing  wrong,  which I guess is good news,  however  I still  do  not  feel good....  Got some good  and bad  days....  I  am not  able to  eat  certain things  and  my diet  now is  pretty  bland.....  it is not  worth the  penalty  to  eat  like  I used to  however  on a bright  note  of the  subject  indeed is a good way to lose weight!

I do think   of each of you  and  I do try to at least once a week   to peek in and see whats going on......  Wishing  each a  blessed week   and  stay  safe!

January

Well folks,  a month  has slipped by  and  I did not  even  say  Happy  New  year!

 I have  not  felt  up to  much...not  sure what is going on....Went to the  Dr  and   came out  with a  clean bill of health  but  still feel  horrible,...tired  and headaches  and normally I never  get a headache..

   Not  much for news here......Temps have been  cold.....Wedding plans  for both   daughters  are under way......Indeed will be a busy  summer....  Niece  gets  married in May.....youngest  daughter  in July  and  oldest  daughter in September!   Right in time for  fall harvest  rush!

   Both  daughters  have  done  a great job planning their  big  day ...the  count down is on....

   As  for my self  just  busy   with work....got some major  remodel issues happening    I will perhaps update  that  news in  a different post...  I am  doing some   good  book reading...and   working on  knitting a key hole scarf  through a  class in  Craftsy that  I signed up for......Otherwise  nothing new here

No Excuses.........

 Well I really have no excuse to not be blogging...Not like I was swamped just overwhelmed with all that  has taken  place. I must admit when I get in a funk  it is just like a magnet drains  my very soul.  It became quite heavy for so many reasons.

But I know brighter days ahead....so many prayers, so much happening so with that all being  said  the  above photo  was  a good snack that  has gotten me through this week and  it is  ONLY  WEDNESDAY!

While back my husbands cousin tagged me in facebook looking for crafty people so  I looked at what she had  to say....and  it  was  a small write up about  a hospital seeking donations  for their lil wee preemies.........as  I went on to read  and click on the connections  I  was in touch  with a  very young  nurse who works daily with these little 1 pound babies and she  was hoping to find some angels to assist her  to fill a need for these lil babies  for  Christmas...Well of course  I shared the link and  gave it some thought  shared that  I would love to help  but  when I learned  how many she needed  I  too needed  help.....But  no one  came to the  rescue  ....well as  I proceeded to work  on these darling  lilttle booties    in the  last  two weeks   I had  two clients  ask me what  I was doing.....Need I say more.....2 more  ANGELS joined me.....the  nurse  was looking for 30 pair  of  booties   and  more  if we could....Well I am so happy to say   this was  just a drop in the  bucket......I was able to send  close to 75 pair of baby booties......and  I  thank  the  two angels that assisted me  and  God Bless the  nurse of these  babies.....

It makes me feel good to know I am able to help them! 

Not much  else happening here.  Oldest daughter is   now  done  with college....and  youngest is  in her finals week ....both  ladies will be  home for  Christmas.  It will be nice to see them

Winter Blizzard

 Well way   over do a great  thanks to barb  over at  Pine Land Treasures I won  one of  her pieces of art.......GORGEOUS   felted  vessel....I just love these..>Thanks so much  Barb.......She also sent a small kitty  pillow  but  I do  not have a photo  of that   so will share  that  later on.

 Some things  I have been working on......created a few small pins  to give  as  gifts.

 Here is  the  canvas series  I have been working on.....added  some paints  when I flew into the s studio  a few days back

 Last night it began.....Blizzard  time in Minnesota.......We did not attend church today...wee stayed  put.  Several wrecks and  abandoned cars

 Hubby did  go out  about  mid day just to clean a path on the front  drive.....moved about  ten inches...  Youngest  daughter called and  said they got  close to 14 inches and  still falling.....UGH   Guess winter  is here

 Sooooooooo   I began some  holiday  baking!!  Cookies

AEDM Day 29

Oh my oh my oh my  I am so far behind,....

I need to get to my studio and  take  some photos   to show   some items...... dang it  I hate  not having  my sewing  close  by!

The  above  photo is a small start to some  decorating  For  Christmas....Each day the  tree  gets  a few treats  under  it for the  Reiki  clients  of the  day.......so far it  has been a huge  hit... candy canes,  banana breads,  mints, different teas  are some of the goodies  the  lil tree  has housed!

Any how  tomorrow  I need to do some more cleaning and  perhaps  will have some baking  to do too........Still working on  those  crocheted  booties  to send to the  hospital for their lil  preemies for  Christmas...... I was  told by the  nurse that asked me for help that these   babies most are  born  at 1 pound...so the  booties  actually do not  get worn until they go home!!   I got  busy  and  recruited a few ladies here to knit and  crochet   to help me out as I know I will not   get  as many  done  as they need.....................

Wedding

 Oh what  a weekend....  I can sure tell  since being  empty nesters that  I am not used to going all day  long~

 I did  squeeze in some time to do some  ATC's..................

 My youngest  daughter and  I  and her future  mom in law  all loaded up  Saturday  and  we e=went shopping for  *mom dresses*   for the wedding  next  July~................ and  I have  some strange ideas  compared to many around  here..........Some like  very  formal.....and I did try on some of those  and there  is so much  neck and (boob)  and jewels showing  in all the  wrong  places   I decided  I did not  want to go that  route,.........besides   I want to have people  focus and  bride  and  bridal party.  IN my  opinion no one  really cares  what the  mom's look like...just  keep  it simple and  nice....Soooo what do you guys  think  of the  above  outfit??  Got a few people thinking the mom needs to match the  bridal party as  far  as formality  and  I simply do not think so...... and by that  I mean  being in formal wear...

 I started some holiday  baking.......fresh out of the  oven this morning...........
