Well now.....I have not started 2012 off well in blog  land  have I ?  I did not realize that  an entire month snuck by and I did not  even make a single  post or anything.......*Sighs* Well no excuses  except that  at times life gets in the way   and I got busy  and did not  even  *think*
The kids  and  their boyfriends  were  home  for two weeks for their college  breaks and the majority of that time was spent in ice houses.......holding  fishing poles  and then coming home  to warm toes and clean fish of course....
My oldest and I did   some baking to fulfill orders  she took at college...
Ohhhhhh  these were addicting!!!Marshamallows dipped in home made caramels and then   rolled in rice krispies or some  we left plain....
I am bummed the photo did not turn out as well as I hoped  but oldest  created  her first pie from scratch!!!   I was so proud of her.....
Chocolate  cream cheese......no calories.... she made  seven of these and sold them...LOL
Ohhhh the shop is moving up...look what  hubby  did for Christmas.....He  had a frame  made for the mail box to hold a sign.......  I  LOVE IT!!!
Not the best photo  but  when  I  think about it I will go down  and take a photo as it turned out very well!!
I have been busy  in the business.....and actually  between clients and soap notes and charts.....I do find  some time to create......Been busy  making scarves!!!
A client of mine created these  rings   I display for her......They are  made out of  buttons....I thought they were  cute.....no two alike for sure!!
I did order some product this  year to add tot he shop consisting of some aromatherapy  items....and bio-freeze!!  Can not seem to keep any of it  in stock.... But then I guess that  is good  right??
Now February is here.....I have  Valentines on the brain... and created  some pink and white  dish cloths  for my daughters.....and of course some chocolates to go with them.....

The shop is keeping quite  busy and I guess that  is what  I wanted.... and I am  able to  keep stuff made and sell that as well  with  the seasons... Soon summer will be here and  I will be in the gardens!!!!

Our weather  has been so odd....WARM.....no snow  here, tomorrow they say  will be cooler.... I sure hope this is not the sign of a Drought  headed our  way.......

Well until next time  I guess that  brings you up to date  in my  corner of the  world....  Blessings to all~

Fun  puzzle as well  this  along with all my baking and  cleaning began the week  before  Christmas....
Youngest daughter and her  boyfriend.....spending mega hours out on the lake  ice fishing   LOL
But some girly  girl  did  not think too high  of actually taking the  fish off the  hooks.....or  holding them  for  a photo
Sooooo  she  put on the  boyfriends old  gloves to take a photo   lol//   We did  actually have  a fish  fry this  night... largest fish was  a 21 inch waleley/ they  caught  some northerns  and some  crappies as well  in their  ventures./
 opening present  Christmas  eve
Even Smokie   got in on the  act...she loves the  paper  and  bows...............

Both girls are back  to their  own places  as of yesterday and  once again the  home is  quiet... Hubby and I  have been following the girls basketball team.... and I have been super busy   with  work  and  creating  some  things for my  shop  and getting  programs on my  new PC...

Other than that not much happening here, I hope all you have had a  Blessed  Christmas  and that  2012 will bring all you wish for!!.

Brrrr...........

Good Day to all in Blog land!

Brrrrr is all I have to say today!! Mighty cold out out there, Could see our breath in the air today!
Started my day out perfect with a client, then went to town and had breakfast with some friends, Caramel rolls and tea and coffee and orange juice. I am telling you folks it does not get any better than good friends and food! We take so much for granted in all the hustle and bustle of life. So sad.
Any how....not much new happening here we are done with most of the field work, got a little plow work to complete but that is hubby's department, My department is now the home and kitchen LOL~ and of course working some and my sewing hut!! I CAN NOT WAIT to be driven to participate in this event again this year! However the first week will be some creative photography or lack there of as I am taking a trip down South to Oklahoma to visit some family~.......and thought perhaps in the event prior I will share some family history, genealogy, and how this tangled web I weave came to be through some writing and old photos down memory lane,...( an who knows by the time Nov. 1 rolls around I will perhaps change my mind as I got some stuff I want to work on for gifts,..sooooo could go either way!!

Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful weekend and I shall return on Tueseday to begin the new events........

Renaissance Festival and Fall Blessings~

All these years in Minnesota and  I just  had my first trip to the  Renaissance  Festival so thought I would share a few   of  my  photos..... I loved the costumes and  how they  played in their  characters~
Got to talk to this beautiful bride!!
Husband and wife in dress/....pretty fall colors....
 Young and old alike...
I love this fountain......and  I had to laugh at the  basalt  stones~
No matter the shop  or the  area  they   were all pretty  in their own way~
An earth tone basket  I created    yesterday for a  local cancer benefit
I use scraps of fabric and  clothesline and my hardy stand by singer machine!!
I just had to try this  as I admire so many works in etsy  and in  various  blogs  I created  a small fabric  atc
using scraps  and  quilt as you go method,...and I tried to create a word  *FAITH* not too bad  but  lots of practice lies ahead  for me ...But still fun~

Well in my last  post  I was determining another  avenue change  in this  journey  of life... and I did  decide to dedicate full time to  my  business  starting now  October 10th..... along with  various  days when slow  assisting hubby  where I can  and  just  sewing and doing what  I can find to muse  my  hours  I guess....Indeed  a very hard  decision to make, many tears shed  as I  truly  loved what  I did,( or still do) but I guess it is  time for a  change, a leap of faith...............as I told   my supervisor  I am  departing on a wing and prayer.................................................

Hope you all  have  a  Blessed Weekend and  see you soon~

I am not sure what this plant is but it is in a pot on my patio and I by total mistake found my marco button on my new camera and WALLAH it blurred the back ground.....WOW I was like a little kid at Christmas time..
