Renaissance Festival and Fall Blessings~

 All these years in Minnesota and  I just  had my first trip to the  Renaissance  Festival so thought I would share a few   of  my  photos..... I loved the costumes and  how they  played in their  characters~
 Got to talk to this beautiful bride!!

 I love this fountain......and  I had to laugh at the  basalt  stones~
 No matter the shop  or the  area  they   were all pretty  in their own way~
 An earth tone basket  I created    yesterday for a  local cancer benefit
 I use scraps of fabric and  clothesline and my hardy stand by singer machine!!
I just had to try this  as I admire so many works in etsy  and in  various  blogs  I created  a small fabric  atc
using scraps  and  quilt as you go method,...and I tried to create a word  *FAITH* not too bad  but  lots of practice lies ahead  for me ...But still fun~

Well in my last  post  I was determining another  avenue change  in this  journey  of life... and I did  decide to dedicate full time to  my  business  starting now  October 10th..... along with  various  days when slow  assisting hubby  where I can  and  just  sewing and doing what  I can find to muse  my  hours  I guess....Indeed  a very hard  decision to make, many tears shed  as I  truly  loved what  I did,( or still do) but I guess it is  time for a  change, a leap of faith...............as I told   my supervisor  I am  departing on a wing and prayer.................................................

    I haven't been there for many years! Thanks for the photos. I was walking into the fair with a Mickey Mouse t-shirt on and as we approached the big gate the guards started shouting--"vermin! vermin! the plague! the plague! cast her out!" That was my introduction to the Renaissance Fair--LOL! What a hoot! Strolling musicians, jousting, street performers, the stockade, prisoner cage, all the many vendors--glass blowers, calligraphers, leather work, jewelry, the giant turkey legs....I imagine it is pretty much the same. What fun!

    So, you decided to take the plunge! I am so happy for you. I bet you will find you are busier than ever at home. You are so creative! I love the basket! And it looks like you might be expanding your repertoire with the sewing and quilting, too. Between all your clients and your projects and helping the hubby, I think your time will fly!
