What happened to fall

Just some fun little water colors...In the above one I was trying to gather a native spirit look
I love trees..not sure why but I always have
Water color trees
so decided it was high time to begin working some of my stashes down......so here is a small start...the leaves in the bag are headed to my etsy shop in a few days, and the hand made jornals are for co workers based on their interests
An update on my water color tiger, slow but sure.
I completed an embroidery project!! Framed and hung today...
Ahhh our oldest dog Felix... a border collie is just plain getting old, we got him as a baby at 6 weeks and he is now 10 years old. This year I decided it is time to move him into the garage, I am about positive his old bones appreciate it!

Our harvest is complete!! The machinery got cleaned up and tucked away until next year!

We already had a snow and ice....was 32 yesterday and the winds were howling for two days...we lost power and just waited it out like we normally do! At this rate it is going to be a super long winter!!

Hope you all have had a great week and I hope your weekend is a safe one!

Happy Halloween and Hauntings~

Fall in the air

Yes, Fall is in the air!! My garden is slowly fading out and life around the farm is turning brown as we lose more daylight hours and the nights become cooler...I went a few days ago and picked a few of the last flowers I had for a first year crop!!

Youngest daughter the week of homecoming each day they had a theme This simply was school spirit day but she reminded me so much of myself back in the early 80's LOL
We moved to our final field yesterday......here is the beginning of it coming out!
Even the farm manager rode along to see that things were going well!
I love his eyes!
Then today after work I swung out to see how far hubby managed to get in the field....Almost half done today so we hope tomorrow to be a ble to say the comine part is done!! Shall hope for no break downs!
While I was out on this farm I decided to snap a photo of a few surroundings to remind me of the things close to me during Earth month for CED.
Just below my feet are some ricj variety of f all colors!
Unloading in the semi
Awe my ride home....I left the pickup so the men could fill up with fuel and also have a ride home tonight!......so called my daughter and thumbed a ride......so typical of roads near me....she leaves the dust in the wind!! :)

A few creative things in the making but you will have to wait until next week for those as I did not make it to my shop with a camera in hand! Sooo dear blogger friends, until next time have a great week!

Earth Theme and Harvest

In Spite of the rains we have had our harvest is close to half done now. Soybeans are finished and now working on corn.
The yields have been good, better than we anticipated,... We can only once we are done thank the good Lord above for the bountiful fruits of my husbands labor once again!
I made a card for my sister, not a good photo at all I did not realize how the light reflected until now doing this. Will try and get a better photos of this later on.
Well I am now using the new room hubby worked so hard on! This was taken three mornings ago, first sunrise of the day, awesome view for me!
I love how the trees appear as a silloute
This is my favorite one! I love the deep orange
I did a new painting again of dessert/ changed a couple of things, once again some watercolor and pastel chalks.
I did a collage, water color and scraps used from a different painting that I did not like so cut it up and used a leaf punch and created a new piece....hid a few things in it as well :)
I was running a farm errand for hubby and soooo happy I took my camera with I was able to capture some beautiful shots
Love the reds
ISnt that gorgeous fall colors!
Almost made it to Willmar and just happened to catch this beauty..

Eagles are so majestic!

Hope you all have a great week!
