Today was HOT. Almost 72 degrees...as I had the day off I pondered in Montevideo walking the graveyard seeking a stone for someone else in the genealogy world after 2 hrs of seeking...and no register to go by I went to one of the funeral homes and they had no record....the lady called historical society and also another funeral home and no records. I went to the court house and looked up their death record and it was there, but no record on the place of buriel.....I thought this was odd~....
Any how... I had anotehr business mtg today and an offer was made so now I need to push a pencil and see if I can make this work..or just do Reiki within the home. Small artical in the Willmar paper on it made my day!!
I bought some fun stuff in the arts area today .....some new fibers, and some papers, WOOOHOOO and a new book.....now if I can find the right stuff I hope to create some 3 D jewelry but got to find the right stablizer.
Any how....got to hit the hay and back to work tomorrow.
Have a good weekend gang!

Quilts~n~things
Well one of the reasons I created this blog is because I love reading the blogs of fellow bloggers plus I love seeing the photos of their projects, families and what ever they share.
One of my goals this yr is to get motivated in many areas, but the biggest is my quilt projects and numerous unfinished items. I also need to get a bit more organized and do some major hauling out of items not in use and things we no longer need. I sometimes wonder if I am the only one that has these organizational issues,?
Anyhow here is a small quilt I created for a coworker that moved, I still have some small details to complete it but it is soon done! I did thread paintsing on the grasses, and used some bead elements and appliqued the turtle..The background is stripes that I weaved together and then stitched to make a foundation piece, Fun project! I plan to make another one similar to this one.

Vacations
My husband won a trip to vegas for a week via a chemical/grain company. So we left cold weather and landed in some awesome 75 degree weather! We spent the first two days just walking up and down the strip and visiting places of interest as we walked along, as I get them loaded I will share some of the photos in the blogs.
The week consited of some major long days beginning at 6 a.m. for us, Which is 4 a.m. for Vegas, but one thing for sure, we beat the card clikers, and the mobs of people! We were turning in about midnight for us which was around 10 p.m. Vegas time!
Any how we got home at 4 this morning and I am still trying to get caught up on some housework and get laundry done from the trip but next few days I hope to be able to share some of our trip with you!
I am suffering from major jet lag and back to -14 degree and four foot snow drift in the yard!

Breast Lumps
Well tomorrow is the big day, I go to the hospital for a biopsy, I told my husband tonight it certainly can not hurt any more than my boobs are right now, .....I would like to do some research and see if other women have the same issues I am having.
1. swelling... I have gone up 2 bra sizes,
2. Sometimes its a burning sensation
3. Sometimes I have pressure into the arm pits
'
4. Been a few times I have woke up in the middle of the night and it feels like ants crawling inside.
Any ideas guys?? Hopefully within a week I will know something more.
I would like to come back to this post now and say as of two weeks ago my mammogram came back good... nothing noted and the previous lumps and bumps have shrunk....So grateful!

Friends
People come into your life for a reason, some just for a bit and some for a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a reason, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a Godsend and they are. They are there for a reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. Sometimes they just disappear from your life. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a season, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.!
Lifetime relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas in your life. What a great gift one can leave and give away!
Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.
