Spring is Peeking at us!

 Good morning !! It is so wonderful to wake up and see the sun shine!!

We have had so much rain. A storm that passed through a couple weeks ago did  it’s toll on our farm plus many others in the region! I complain and grumble daily at the added work this has imposed for all of us. Sadly it doesn’t seem to help! One day at a time right!?

Farmers are struggling to get their crops in my husband said this will be the first year in his 50 year career of farming he can’t get the crops all in 

Some of my flowers are peeking through and my garlic is about to flower!!! Brings a smile to my face!

Now I have to try and figure out how to do photos here from my phone to share  some of the beauty!!

 Oh my goodness, where has time gone!!?  Life happens, it bring dreams and struggles and happy times and sad  times and   things slow down then speed up and some things  get forgotten by brain fog and some pushed aside for a better day!

I am sitting this morning in a virtual masterclass on blog writing and  on self book publishing....and  I am taking notes and thought to myself  "I used to have a blog" I used to read so many blogs! Made great amazing friendships, and just enjoyed every minute of it happening!! At the same time thinking to myself there  is no way that blog  even exists any more and cant recall where it was....

Well did a google search and here I am...I am just totally amazed! the blog is  still here and I see my followers and I plan to spend the rest of the day clicking on each one to see what people have been up to!!

As for myself, Since 2014 when I last published,...Gosh a lot has  happened, Both daughters have completed college and moved on with their careers, I have 3 beautiful grandbabies, 2 boys and  a girl...and two older step grandchildren, both in college!  All doing well!

Our oldest daughter  and family live within 2 miles of our  home  creating their own little homestead! Such a wonderful journey for them as us!

Youngest daughter  and her little girl reside 25 miles from us and they are doing well, the little sassafrass reminds me  a lot of her mama when she was  little!

For myself: we still farm, I still garden and doing home preserving, sewing some, I still work from home doing Reiki, and also opened a small children's boutique, which my oldest daughter  takes care!

I hope I can regain this blog,....I hope I can create more friendships and rekindle the old!

In the mean time, Minnesota  is wet and cold, I still have not been able to get any garden in.....But  soon....yes soon! 

Fall already?

 I really do not know where this yr  has  gone...WOW.....Been super  busy....my  business has  grown  leaps and  bounds,  to the point that  I am considering bringing in another  therapist within the year  if it all pans out!  I have  not  had much  time for  crafting, or journals or  even  blogging for that matter.......but  I certainly do think of  each  and  everyone of  you guys.....

 This is the gran fur baby,.  getting to be  a big  boy!!!

I did manage to grow  a smaller  garden this   year  and   reaped some  great  harvests....added  some  blue berries  and  strawberries  in  amongst the  wild  patches...While cleaning  up the  fairy  garden last week   came  across this little nest   in a tree.....so tiny  and  cute!

Wishing  each and  everyone of you a safe  fun Halloween....

 Another show we too in was  the  Country Singers Impersonators.  Merle Haggard..Wynonna...Shania...and  Garth/  They  did   a great job!

I did  a panorama of one of the chinese settings in the  casinos....simply beautiful~


It was a great week. the weather was warm...in the 70's/  Came back to below 0 in Minnesota~.....Maybe next week  I should  order some garden seeds Perhaps mother nature will be nicer

I hate Winter

I wish I could have shot the ground hog!!   It  has already been  a long winter... Some days I just feel like crawling in a  hole  and staying there......But on  a much brighter note......  The   first photo above  is  our lil fur grand-doggy,   *laughs*   Is he  not adorable?   His name is  Hugo....Our oldest daughter  bought him a few weeks back,  He part  border  collie, lab and  St Benard mix... Any guess on how  big this lil guy will get?

I really have not felt   like being creative... you know sometimes it goes  really well and then there  are times  Im just not in the mood.  But I did join 29 faces this year,  I figured since  I took a class earlier this year to learn some basics......this would be a good guide in practice!!

Remember  February is  Heart Healthy Month.....and  since  we only have one   heart..we should Garrard it well and take  excellent  care of it.!

January Bliss

 Oh the weather is frightful outside most of January for us.... Blowing, cold snowing, repeat:

Most days we can not make out the grain bins in the yard, Good thing we only have a few inches of snow and not a foot!  Can you imagine the mess that would cause?

I think in a few weeks  I just might have to go find some sun someplace!!

Well off to stitch or paint or knit or something~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Stay warm!

A New Year Already?

I do not know where time goes.....It is sad in a way that it just slips away.....quietly and silently,

Unfortunately  I have not taken much time in the last few months to blog  my self but I do read others :)  and with that being  said  I guess I need to really  work on placing my focus  and energies in areas that  are dear  to me.

I just realized last week I have not taken too much time to read a good book........to knit....to paint....and the list could go on and on.

I have spent the last year pouring hours and energy into weddings preps for both daughters,  The youngest  did get married in July, The oldest daughter cancelled her wedding, but she  is doing well and appears to be happy which in turn makes mom happy right!!!?


My business in 2013 grew leaps and bounds, and some day  I did not know if I even had time to breathe, In a way  it is a great problem  to have,  but I also need to realize I do need to breathe! But I am blessed!

We lost our border collie last fall...He was old...watched our girls grow up and managed this farm for 15 years....  Was such a sad  day  for all of us........

I started a new process in October as well...I went on a program called   IT WORKS....I started out taking  just the greens  as I wanted to alkalize the  body......within  the week I started feeling good...more energy and just felt better,  In Nov  I added the  body wraps  to my greens.....As of today  I am now  down 28 pounds,,, and feeling awesome!   This month and New year  I added a new supplement to my regimen so will see how  this  goes!   It was time to make some changes,  I guess I am off to a good start! But a long road  ahead!

Well I guess that brings us  up to date here,  I really have nothing much  ever going on!  Its been bitter cold here, so just staying warm!
