Not forgotten

I can not believe how fast time flies when you get busy! *laughs* Like no one else in this world is busy!! It has been two weeks since i have even looked or been in blogger and I am far behind in posting and more important READING!!

It is cold, damp, raining with a forecast of sleet on the way later today and tomorrow. Smells like Spring outside but certainly does not feel like it!

I have been busy getting this 18 yr old ready for prom....can not wait to share the dress this year! Certainly not what mom would have picked but it looks good on her....Hope we can get someplace this weekend and look at ties for the young man and some extra hair stuff for her. Prom is May 7, so got a little ways to go and I have some things to do with the dress to complete it....

I have been busy in the scrap book world trying to get her basketball album (Sr yr) done., I have like 6 more pages to go.... that will be a huge relief for me when it is completed as I am running out of ideas.....so if any one out there has some good ideas for a lay out in a basketball theme I am open for ideas!

Not much else happening here, the garden spot is still under a 5 foot bank of snow so that is not happening any time soon, I did however buy some new pots to put out for graduation,. so got to get those seeds started soon!

Hopefully it will not be another two weeks before I return, need to set 1 day a week in the evening aside and work on this.

Blessings to all~~

  1. I did not have a clue until I checked out a paper back book...Inchies...and then you can just dive in. It is difficult to work this small but exciting at the same time. I am working in fiber because I want to display them on a quilt of some kind. Check an Inchie every Monday...you will blown away with the varied results. Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

  2. Thunder and sleet in Fargo since about 6ish. Looks horrible out there. Nope, I don't think you'll be gardening any time soon. ;)

I never went to prom and I don't do scrapbooking, so I am blank on either of those--hehe! But I'd love to see the pictures of your daughter and her date when they are all gussied up and ready to go. Glad to see you blogging! :)

  3. Missed you! Hope everything goes well with all your projects! Too long ago since my kids went to their High School year end dance (Not called a Prom in South Africa where they went to school) I just remember the boys were more stressed than the girls!!
